TTartisan has announced the details of a new 23mm F1.4 wide-angle prime lens designed for APS-C camera systems. The lens offers a 35mm equivalent focal length and is available for an array of APS-C camera systems.
The manual lens is constructed of eight elements in six groups, including three high-refractive-index elements and one low-dispersion element. It has an aperture range of F1.4 through F16, uses a 10-blade aperture diaphragm, has a minimum focusing distance of 20cm (7.8”) and uses a 43mm front filter thread. Depending on what lens mount version you go with, the lens weighs between 222–225g (8oz). All models will measure 60mm (2.4”) in diameter and 40.5mm (1.6”) long.
Below is a collection of various sample images, provided by TTartisan:
Speaking of mounts, the lens will be available for Canon EOS M, Fujifilm X, Micro Four Thirds and Sony E mount camera systems. The lens will come in two different colorways: one with an all black design and one that’s black with a silver focusing ring. TTartisan hasn’t yet announced pricing or availability information. We will update accordingly when it goes live. In the meantime, you can keep an eye out on TTartisan’s online shop and Amazon storefront.
