Zhong Yi Optics (ZY Optics) has released a Leica M mount version of its Mitakon Speedmaster 50mm F0.95 lens, bringing an improved optical design specifically for Leica camera systems.

Additionally, the Leica version of the Mitakon Speedmaster 50mm F0.95 lens features a rangefinder coupling system for focus assistance.
Below are a collection of sample images captured with the lens, provided by ZY Optics:
Other features include a nine-blade aperture diaphragm, an aperture range of F0.95 through F16 and a 100cm (3.25ft) minimum focusing distance. The lens measures 75mm (2.95”) in diameter, 88mm (3.46”) long and weighs 675g (1.5lbs).
The lens is available to purchase through ZY Optics’ online shop for $799 in black and silver.
